Overview

source: link

Crusoe is developing a data center campus at 22151 NW Service Road in Warrenton, in Warren County, Missouri, the second of two sites under a roughly 1.6 GW capacity agreement it signed with Meta in June 2026. The site plan covers about 340 acres and calls for two compute buildings of roughly 805,000 square feet each plus a 40,000 square foot administration building. Crusoe builds, owns, and operates the campus; Meta is the offtaker. The 1.6 GW total is shared with Crusoe's companion campus in Childress, Texas, and the per-site capacity has not been broken out. Crusoe's builds typically lean on on-site or contracted natural gas generation, the key local angle on emissions, water, and grid load. The pin is approximate to the service-road parcel along Interstate 70.

The closest existing grid infrastructure and the municipal water system this location sits in — the same constraints the buildout model screens on (it won't site a campus more than ~2 km from a substation or ~5 km from municipal water). Distances are straight-line to public HIFLD/EPA features, not a metered connection.

Tax breaks & subsidies

source: Good Jobs First / GASB 77

No per-deal tax break is linked to this site yet. No state discloses the recipient of a data-center abatement at the facility level, so per-site deals are rare in the public record. If you have a development agreement or board resolution for this site, send it to us.

Water use

No public record of this facility's water use. We check state withdrawal reporting for self-supplied sites; municipally supplied sites only become visible through a public-records request to the local water utility — a per-facility request tool is coming. If you have a utility document for this site, send it to us.

EPA permits & violations

No reported violations as of last sync.

Nearest school

source: HIFLD / NCES

The nearest public school, Rebecca Boone Elem. in Warrenton, is 0.7 mi from this site (448 students). 3 public schools sit within a mile of the site.

Schools are sensitive receptors for the noise, backup-generator exhaust, and traffic a large data center brings. Straight-line distance to the nearest public school (HIFLD/NCES, US public schools only).
