The short version

We set no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and no cross-site tracking identifiers. That's why you'll never see a cookie-consent banner here — under the EU ePrivacy rules and GDPR, consent is only required for non-essential cookies, and we don't use any. Our analytics ( Vercel Web Analytics) are cookieless and count page views without identifying you.

What your browser actually stores

Only the strictly-necessary, functional items below — each either lives on your own device or is required to serve the page securely. None of them track you across other websites.

WhatWhereWhyConsent
Theme preferenceLocal storage (your device)Remembers dark/light/system mode so the page doesn't flash on loadStrictly necessary — no consent required
Map tile cacheBrowser HTTP cacheStandard caching of map images so panning isn't slow; set by your browser, not by usStrictly necessary — no consent required
Security / load-balancingTransient host cookie (if any)Our host may set a short-lived functional cookie to route requests and block abuse; it carries no profileStrictly necessary — no consent required

Turning them off

Because nothing here profiles you, there's nothing to opt out of — but you can clear or block all site storage in your browser settings at any time. The only thing that breaks is that the site will forget your dark/light preference between visits.

Third parties

When you load a map, your browser fetches tiles directly from OpenFreeMap, and the address tool sends what you type to Mapbox for geocoding. These are functional requests, not advertising trackers. Every external service we use, and exactly what it sees, is listed in the privacy policy.
