Troup County Board of Commissioners enacted a 90-day moratorium to address new data center projects following public concerns. n March 2026, the Hogansville City Council reportedly agreed to extend the purchase option contract with the developer, FGI, through March 9, 2027. This gives the developer another year to attempt to move the project forward on the Hightower Road site. Announced investment: $0.30.
